On any given night in the United States, 41,000 unaccompanied youth ages 13-25 are without a home. And on all of those nights, Catholic women religious are working to shelter them, feed them, and protect them.
In diverse programs around the U.S., Catholic sisters recognize the many needs of the population of homeless youth and model how to be present to them emotionally as well as help them in practical ways.

Artyom Keller, a New Yorker born in Russia, is a writer, photographer, traveler, Christian worker and child of God. He has lived in South Africa, New England, West Africa and California. He has pursued studies in philosophy, missional organization management, ministry to the marginalized and theology. He has worked professionally to alleviate homelessness, addiction, mental illness, trauma, the refugee crisis and persecuted Christians. He, his wife and son currently live in Washington, D.C.
