Greta Gaffin is a freelance writer from Boston, Massachusetts. She has a master of theological studies degree from Boston University and a bachelor's in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Prisca Ovat is a trained nurse and a Medical Missionary of Mary sister from Nigeria who made her final vows in 2017. She went to Kenya on a mission in 2013, then worked in South Sudan before returning to Kenya where she currently ministers as outreach coordinator for the sisters' ministries in child and vulnerable adult safeguarding, human trafficking, climate change, and health care. She works in the slums, among people who have lived with HIV/AIDS for many years.
