An older Catholic, feeling guilty about climate change, writes in with a question. Amid news about advancing climate change, she has noticed more Catholic discussion about Pope Francis' environmental encyclical Laudato Si'. But she hasn't heard much about whether our personal decisions that impact climate change are forms of sin.

"As Catholics, we're supposed to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who is willing to think and live in very different ways from his society," she writes. "Should I be doing more?"

Sister Maxine and Sister Shannon weigh in.
