Adrian Dominican Sr. Corinne Florek spoke to GSR about leading the Religious Communities Impact Fund. The fund's members, all women religious communities, pool their investment money, which enables larger loans, less paperwork and more effective financing.

GSR Today - The Holy Rosary Sisters wanted to help remote communities of Zambia discover their potential for development. Chipapa was a neglected region, so it fit their mission perfectly.

A 1968 famine inspired Sister Mary Lillian to find a way for people to earn money. The "Awakening" training center has trained an estimated 10,000 women since then. Often, this income is funneled to their children's education.

There is a new wave of social pastoral work in the Archdiocese of Antequera, Oaxaca, where food sovereignty and community ecological empowerment is taking place through a new Social Pastoral School. About 34 parishes have organized new social pastoral groups or reactivated or reorganized old ones, and 100 people have been through the school's first course.
