Sandra Bartolomeu

Sandra da Silva Bartolomeu is a Servant of Our Lady of Fatima. She is Portuguese, born in South Africa. Before entering the community, she worked as an artist, teaching drawing and illustrating a children’s book. Her later ministries have included working at a shelter for children and teenagers, at a social center where she helped nursery school teachers to include pastoral care in their daily class routine with children, and as a pastoral care agent with a team at the Shrine of Fatima, collaborating on work with pilgrims — itineraries, pilgrimages and children’s activities, retreats and spiritual itineraries for adults, and catechesis. She is part of the Leiria-Fatima Diocesan Secretariat for Youth, and does vocation ministry for her community.
