Sisters from three congregations in central Vietnam provided essential support to hundreds of people with disabilities, victims of natural disasters, pregnant women abandoned by their partners, homeless individuals, hospital patients, street vendors, motorbike-taxi drivers, used item collectors and ethnic villagers to celebrate Christmas.

They distributed food, warm clothing, medicine, artificial limbs and financial aid to help them overcome hardships and experience divine love.

Rain and the cold temperatures in the area for weeks are making it harder for many people to find employment and feed their families. Many other people had their belongings washed away during floods in November.

Daughters of Mary of Immaculate Conception Sr. Mary Anne Duong Thi Nhi said, "We try to bring the hope of the infant Jesus to others as we prepare for the Jubilee of Hope in 2025 and celebrate Jesus' birth."

"We want to do something useful to help people rediscover the joy of encountering God and continue their life journey with renewed hope," she shared.
