Winnifred Lepcha

Winnifred Lepcha is from the Diocese of Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. She entered the novitiate of the Congregation of St. Joseph of Cluny while she was still in high school, and began ministering in education and pastoral work. After her final profession in 2014, she completed her undergraduate work in geography and theology. Currently, she is working on a graduate degree in theology with a specialty in spirituality at Jnana Deepa, Institute of Philosophy and Theology, in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

A deeply disturbing sight that still haunts me

Though years have passed since that day, the image of the woman crawling at the roadside has not faded from my sight. The car in which I was traveling just passed by her, but she is still journeying with me.
