Maria Lopez

Maria Lopez is a member of the Sisters of the Presentation of New Windsor, New York. Over the years, she has served as a missionary in Venezuela and Peru, a teacher in elementary and high school in New York, a pastoral associate and director of mission awareness for the Brooklyn Propagation of the Faith, executive director of the International Presentation Association, and representative to the United Nations for the Presentation Sisters. She is currently a chaplain at Hudson Valley Hospice in New York.

Being an organ donor is an amazing way to follow Jesus' example

Organ donation is not one of those things most sisters have on their "must do" list. But the selfless offering of ourselves in order to give life to others is exactly what we are about as women religious.
