Nuns on the Bus 2015 starts today

This story appears in the Nuns on the Bus feature series. View the full series.

In just an hour, the Nuns on the Bus will kick off their 2015 bus tour at the 2-acre Kiener Plaza in St. Louis. Global Sisters Report is here for the tour launch (this post is being written from Busch Stadium, I kid you not), and I’ll be tweeting and reporting this morning to keep you up to date.

You can get all of GSR’s news and updates from our Nuns on the Bus blog, which will include posts from our very own Franciscan Sr. Jan Cebula, who will be on the bus from Sept. 16 in Nashville, Tennessee, until the tour’s end in Washington, D.C.

The theme of this year’s Nuns on the Bus tour is “Bridge the Divide, Transform Poltiics,” and the bus will take Social Service Sr. Simone Cambpell and about a dozen other women religious to seven states, where they will listen to people’s stories, hoping to ultimately deliver those stories to Congress at the end of the month.
