Musical sleuths can figure it out
Next week, Sept. 26, 2017, will be the 119th birthday of long-deceased composer, George Gershwin, who was born in 1898.
Sadly, due to his early death from a brain tumor, this musical genius and master pianist died when he was only 38 on July 11, 1937.
He gave us such incredible compositions as "Rhapsody in Blue," "An American in Paris," and the American opera "Porgy and Bess."
In Gershwin's honor a musical story is in order. Care to decipher this?
